Description
The KM003C’s screen size has increased from 1.3 to 1.54 inches, and four buttons on the side have also changed from golden to silver. Except for that, the UI color has become more vivid and dynamic. The advanced and simple design perfectly fits the temperament of geeks.
The small icon in the upper left corner has changed, because the new model now has a built-in gravity sensor for display rotation instead of physical button.
The tester adopts unibody aluminum alloy and CNC technology just like the previous generation. The size is only 36.5 x 35.5 x 8.7mm (1.44 x 1.40 x 0.34 inches), and the weight is 16.5g (0.58 oz).
As the picture shows, the biggest change is that the thickness has slightly inceased from 8mm to 8.7mm, so it can still easily fit into the small pocket of your jeans.
Specification
The KM003C can provide powerful functions just like the previous generation, such as multiple tests, including voltage/current detection, capacity/energy test, E-marker test, PDO test, protocol test, etc.
The protocol auto detection not only supports the previous PD3.1, QC4&5, SCP, FCP, AFC, VFCP, UFCS, etc., but adds MTK-PE, VOOC and SVOOC thanks to built-in load. If you’re an OPPO or Meizu smartphone owner, these new supported protocols can be very useful.
It adopts supercapacitors for better quality and can run for five to ten seconds after disconnecting to the power.
And the typical operation current of the new model has almost doubled compared with the old one in order to achieve more function, as mentioned above.
Finally, the PC software is exactly the same as KM002C, which makes it extremely easy to get started.
